While studying Visual Communication at Northern Illinois University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, Andy began his career in design and photography in 1996. While his portfolio includes work for companies such as Caterpillar and Motorola, he is perhaps becoming best known for capturing the light, color, motion, gesture and space found in every day life. His unique vision and style have kept him busy for over 18 years designing and photographing annual reports, magazine covers, advertising, websites and more for an array of clients.
While commercial work is important to him, it is his curiosity of the world around him and the desire to capture those spaces and share them with his audience that keeps him going. He has been exhibiting photographs at galleries and art shows over the past decade and has also taught extensively photography, photoshop and design in workshops, schools and private lessons. He continues to sell prints, which can be found in private and corporate collections.
A personal note:
“Any success I have had as a designer and photographer I share with my wife Kelene. It has only been with her support and encouragement that I have been able to continue on this very amazing journey. I will never be able say thank you to her enough for coming along for the ride.”
Love Always - Andy
